Hey Guys,

Did a search, nada. My '89 never had the TSB 14-02-90 done that added springs and brackets to make the accelerator pedal eaiser to operate. Called the dealer and ran down all the part #'s, the kit is not available and only 3 of the 6 parts in the kit are still good #'s. The return spring bracket, transmission lever, and cable bracket assy are discontinued. Any ideas? How about a parted out truck that had the TSB done?

TIA

Godspeed,

Trent

I run mine with no springs. That is to say that the coil spring on the pumps throttle lever is all I am using. Easy pedal.

I assume you have an auto since you mentioned the transmission cable. Pull the throttle pressure cable and work some lube into it. They tend to get sticky without occassional lube. Do the same to the throttle cable.

I run only the springs on the pump and throttle is easy and returns instantly. :)

cerberusiam,

Thanks for the tip, I will try that.

I wonder if they changed something during the '90 model run and that is why your '92 is easier?

Godspeed,
Trent
