Been reading quite a bit and am interested in messing around with the star wheel. Does anyone have any advise for settings at high alittude??

95% of my driving happens between 6000 and 10000 feet. I read somewhere: 1 click toward the engine per 1000 ft above sea level. The star wheel has to do with fuel/air mixture right? just like on an airplane...

Would be nice to have some better low end throttle response, not interested in smoke, would like to maximize fuel economy, run mostly bio diesel.

Thanks for suggestions.

no, it has to do with how much boost is required to move the fuel lever arm forward...

loosening the spring tension requires less boost to move the lever forward... this brings in the fuel quicker, but it can also cause unwanted (or wanted) smoke

just play with it and find your happy medium
