My '98 came with factory DRL (Canadian), the module shorted out and the high beams stayed on all the time. I unpluged the module, now the headlights work correctly (w/o DRL) but the high beam indicator doesn't light up. Do I need to jumper a couple of wires at the DRL plug, or do I have other problems?

Hey Daren, The easiest thing to do would be to just get another DRL module, but if your not into doing that I believe you can run a jumper ( not sure if you 98 is switched ground or not) My 97 has switched positive. The '97 high beam indicatore is activated by a small red/grey wire coming out of the module(in the harness) I think that if you can get power to this (or ground from a headlight) you might be able to get it to work. a quick glance at a manual would help.
