Just got my new truck last week. My only complaint so far is with the high beam indicator on the dash. It is way to bright and makes it hard to see out the windshield. Anybody else have this problem? Suggestions?

I am running out of post-it's to cover the light!!!

Ditto there on the high beam indicator. I prefer the dash lights to be low but with that )#(*$ blue spot light shining up,it more of a distraction. I am currently looking for wood grain electrical tape to place over the indicator:p

My 1998 1500slt has same problem. Wont adjust with light reostat. I like my lights dim on long trip, the bright light indicator is so bright it hurts my eyes.

bright/dim/running lights

Has anyone confirmed if we can jumper the fuse box like we

could on the 2nd gen trucks, so that the running lights would stay on when we go from dim to bright lights?

How about, can we run with dim and bright together somehow?

I am no electrical gizmo guy.

The '-02 and back Brite Box concept won't work on '03's, due to the lights having sepate feeds for the left and right. Understand they are working on a new one... .

The brite box is due out any day for the 03's. I talked directly with the manufacture last week. Watch in geno's garage for it to come out. Greg:D

I suspect the bulb for the indicator is a 194? We could probably replace them with a lower P/N bulb and solve the problem. Maybe a 192 or 189?
