I have had Psycotty on for a lil while and I did notice a difference in temps after I installed it. Empty i never really saw over 700. Now I am getting right up to 1200 no problem, I checked my psycotty setup and all is fine. Filter is clean (2 weeks old) and it seems to be sucking fine. My egts climb so high and quick. Could my sending unit be sooted up giving me a lil different reading? Is it my Iat sensor? Exhaust is 4 in all the way back and I have done nothing different to my truck or the way I drive it. What could the possible problem be? also could I have a fuel filter prob?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a pull tomorrow night and would like to be running my best and not get way too out of hand on egts.

Any drop in boost? If so, check the turbo to intercooler to intake manifold hoses/clamps and intake manifold gasket. My psychotty would suck the filter against the inside of the housing until I reinforced it, might check that. How's air flow through the intercooler? Do you notice a difference depending on the ambient temperature outside? Turbo spooling up like normal?

1200? That's it. You should feel lucky. I can hit 1600 real easy. With all your mods you should be able to hit 1600+ too I'd think. It's not a fuel filter problem. Did you have all of the boxes on before? If you didn't that'll do it. I don't think you should worry. I'd be glad if I could only get to 1200. Well I can... stock, but what fun is that. :D

Yeah all the boxes were on... . nothing is different... . boost seems to be the same i checked all connections not leaking... . didnt think it was fuel filter prob but i didnt know. It always seems to do better on a 90 degree day (truck performance in general) compared to a 70 degree day... kinda has me confused but thats why i am asking. how long can i stay over 1200 while pulling the sled? my guage only goes to 1500 and i am guessing i will bury it easily.

I'm pretty sure you can stay at 1300 PRE turbo for a long time. (1350 actually) As long as you stay under that nothing can melt, no matter how long it's there. As far as I know anyways. I've spiked mine quite a few times to over 1600, but only for a few seconds, it moves every time it shifts. I wouldn't recommend doing it all of the time, but it can be done. Empty I can get to over 1500 in under an 1/8th mile. So it rises quick. I dunno why yours would have been so low to begin with. Maybe it isn't, maybe mine's high. Let us know what you find.
