This morning when i started my truck the fuel pressure guage was pegged at 30 psi!! I am waiting for a spring from fass to adjust the pressure. My question is will this pressure damage any thing on my engine?? A few days ago it was warmer outside and the psi wsa not as high.

Personally, I'd rather not see pressure above 15psi. But most people disagree with that, and I know there are a lot of people running over 20psi. But over 30psi? That's pretty high. I think you risk damaging the fuel control actuator, which is mounted on the back of the CP-3.

I don't mean to scare you, I'm just offering my opinion. I'm no expert on fuel pressures.

Thanx for your reply!! I sure hope the psi does not damage anything. With any luck the spring & screen will be here within the week!!
