Strange thing happend the other day, I was showing some friends how diesels can run
. I was hot rodding, painting black strips on the asphault and the truck stumbled when it shifted to 3rd and the M. I. L. came on. I have not seen any codes from the tst box in 8 or 9 months so I was a little concerned, but the truck ran fine and I took it home. I checked the code and it was po88 high fuel rail pressure, this truck does not have a pressure box!
One of the passengers said when the M. I. L. came on he saw a puff of smoke from the passenger side foot well :{ I hope it was just left over tire smoke!! and not the magic smoke that makes electric components work.
the box was on 9/9 and I hope the rail was just sucked dry and the computer increased pressure to compensate then at shift the tst defuled causing spike in pressure
