High idle at start up

I have a 03 2500 5.9L NV5600 6sp all stock injectors and pressure relief valve replaced a year ago have 187.000 miles. This morning and yesterday morning when I started truck it went right to 1000 rpms and would not come down for like 30 secs. Temp was in low 20 overnight

normal when it's cold. nothing to worry about it.

yea but first time this has happened since I bought truck new in 03

Yeah mine is erratic also, sometimes I can start it and let it run for 5 minutes in the driveway before the fast idle comes on.
Sometimes it comes on right away at startup, I quite worrying about it.
