Well, after a long battle with the service department (Moss Bros. ) in San Bernadino, Ca. last winter, I had come to the realization that the only "High Idle" system that was going to work in the Limo is to continue the use of a custom device made by Titleist; Pn. 975D 8. 5deg with a custom H/Pm Composite shaft 67grams 1. 7 deg torque 44" finished length 1/2" tip trim and 1/32"undersized grip. Yup, I just grab the Driver out of my golf bag and stick it into the back of the seat and on the go pedal, then just bump up the power seat 'till the RPM's read 1200
I had all but given up, but, winters here in Maine are a little harsher than the 20-32 deg. "cold" days in the SanBernadino Mountains :-laf
Yesterday I took my truck to Lee Dodge at Lee Auto mall and explained it all over again to Jeff Allen my Service Rep. Who explained it to his Tech. of 20+years (who really is'nt a "believer"). But in keeping with the 5 star spirit, managed to atleast investigate. Long story shortened a bit. . . . This AM, 16 degrees outside, 73 seconds of idle, followed by a smooth ramp up to 1250 RPM
Oo.
JALAPEN~A One or two degrees colder and I am sure it would have shut three cylinders down. So much for "a California emissions equipped H. O. 6 speed" isn't compatable with this programming so it isn't available crap. WOOHOO! So MOSS BROS. Stick that in your tail pipe and SMOKE IT! And you owe me 75 Bucks!
