It has been in the low teens here the last few days and my truck will still not go into high idle. I've left it in park, put it in neutral, and nothing will happen. When I bought the truck, I had the dealer make it happen. They said it had already had it activated, but the went ahead and went through the procedure again. Any ideas? I've been laying a hitch on the pedal whe I need it warm before taking off (loaded trailer), but if it will do it automatically, I want it to.

The dealer seems to have a hard time activating this, just have a local member with a smarty download any catcher into your truck then return it to stock the high idle and three cyl cut out will work :D George

mine has to sit out for about 12 hours after running for it to kick in (these engines hold alot of heat for a long time). It also has to be in the low 20's for it to work. Mine did not work until I but a DTT noise filter on the trans. I think the filter cleaned up the voltage that the APPS was seeing so that the ECM/PCM actually saw Idle speed as Idle and not off idle.

I would consider this if someone close had it.
