Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) high idle ?

my truck seems to have 3cyl high idle on cold mornings. idles at about 1200rpm, really knocky! i did have smarty programed for about half an hour just to try it out. could the smarty have left the 3cyl high idle in my ecm? im not worried just suprised. it doesnt sound like all cyls and im not aware of high idle on a stock truck.

From what I understand the Smarty leaves the high idle program enabled after it's taken off.

That is correct... . you can use one smarty to enable high idle on as many trucks as you want. It enables it on any sw #.

Yes if you tried smarty, when your rig was put back to stock, it installed the latest updates that include high idle three cyl.
