High Idle

I have tried searching and can't find exactly what I am looking for. On a 2004.5 manual can the cruise control high idle be activated? I have read a few things about grounding pin #22 in the ECM using a Cummins plug and pigtail part # 3164262 to make it work. Can anyone verify that it works? I have access to a scan tool to activate the high idle and would like to have the cruise control function if possible

Is the manual different then the auto Trans? Because in mine we just enabled it with the DRBIII. No hardware was involved.

Yes it should work fine.

Yes, the ECM needs to have pin #22 grounded so that it will allow the manual fast idle to work. Grounding #22 puts the ECM into PTO mode.
