Gheeze, little did I know how much I didn't know till I started reading all Y'all's stuff. I need to secure a pin in the front of my block, there's all kinds of cool plates and injector stuff I can add on, this is just like owning a Harley!!

Does somebody have a print for the fixture? Being a machinist and all maybe I could build my own. Is there a site or a book I can read to get my ignert self up to speed here on what the hell Y'all are talkin about?

I had a guy in a small town North of DFW do some stuff to my truck some time ago, I have no idea what he did, but it sure ran strong, supposed to be about 250 HP. I don't think he added any parts, so I'm guessing he turned up the pump and did something to the turbo, you guys might have a clue. I've worked on gas engines and bikes, but don't know squat about diesels, so I guess I'll sit back and try to catch up.

your about 3 weeks too late. There was a great dyno day in Lewisville then. Top dog was 525, twin turbo, on NOS.



My advice? Start reading these posts in the "12v Engine" forum, and the "Parts" forum to get ideas of what you want.

Hey Boomer. IF your interested, we are having a rally on October 25-27th in Kerrville. We'll have one of the dowel pig jigs that will allow you to fix it without pulling the front cover. Along with vendors and a few seminars. You're welcome to come out and join us. We can get in that pump and see what was done to it.

Thanks for the info guys, I'd love to make it to Kerrville, I was down there on the bike about a month ago. I've got some serious family medical stuff goin on that week with my sister, so I probably can't make it. I'll stay on top of it and try to catch the next one. Thanks for the info though, I didn't even know stuff like that existed.

I do know all about 5th gear falling off, had it happen twice in less than 100K miles.

If you can, I would highly suggest making this rally. There will be vendors, and MANY other memebers who can help you figure out what kind of BOMBing path you want to take.
