Ford 6.4 at work- this was on the drain plug

JN6 Parts Source?

There was a commercial delivery in the RV park where I'm staying presently. I spoke with him extensively and he had 300K on an '07. He claimed no engine work. It was the 5. 9 and a stick. I should have asked about clutch and trans. but it was just a bull---- session bet a couple of guys who hadn't really expected to meet and talk at all. He pulled in a new 3 axle toy hauler from Michigan and set it up for his customer in Morgan Hill Ca. He said the company has 14 Dodge Dually's and they have all been relatively trouble free. The owner (his son) stays away from the 6. 7 and shops full time for previously owned low mileage 5. 9's. It works for him. I told him he might try one of the new trucks as the wrinkles have been pretty much worked out and they are now equipped with def. which should improve the regenerative process and increase mileage. They also haul pre fab churches that are delivered complete with everything needed to set up and have a church service immediately. I had never heard of anything like that but he says they are delivered all over the country. Ted

Might have been a BS story, I ran into a RV hauler by Boise Idaho. His 2012 had 67,000 miles on it (I saw the ODO) and he claimed his 04 was 1,400,000 miles when he ritired it. That was a Auto truck and only had 2 trans rebuilds, 1 Diff, 1 Fuel pump, 2 sets of injectors. I would have liked to talk more but he had to get driving. Like I said this was his story, might have been a streach but hes had lots of miles on his new truck.
