Does anyone make a performance VP44? I am about to shell out $2600. 00 to have a new one installed at my local dealer is there any other option than a stock replacement?

Piers has one and I think Diesel Dynamics still makes one. There are probably others I don't know about.

There are places you can get a VP44 pump for less that $1000 and have someone else install it, $2600 sounds steep.

2600? Yeah a wee bit steep! even @ 100 bucks an hour labor and a not needed 8 hour install you STILL are paying too much! Well ya could save yourself 1400 and DIY , and if ya really feel the need to get a hotrodded pump and ya still wind up ahead of the game.

SouthEast Power Systems rebuilds them. I would at least call them. They have a web site www.se-power.com. I have dealt with them and they have earned my trust.

You have a service manual. Same service manual the dealership is going to use. You have wrenches, same wrenches ...

hot rod

We have been selling hot rod vp 44 for 8 months without one issue. We have one on a hot shot truck in which he has 54,000 miles with a comp on and again no issues. If we can be a help let us know.

Just know that if you tap the wire with this Hot Rod VP44 pump you void that warranty also.

Still cheaper than $2600. 00 :p

This pump is for real it makes huge power. I made 528. 2 hp with my box OFF. Priced around 1600. 00 if i remember correctly.

$1400 for the pump and a few hours labor thats it. Lesli for $2600 that pump should be doing alot more than pumping fuel. The hot-rod pumps make nice power over stock.
