Ok, after an extensive search for the high piched sound (coming from the frount of the truck) I can't find the source of the noisy. If any had this problem... please, tell me what it is or how to correct.

I have an 01 (see signiture below) with a Dodge bug deflector (all 3 pieces). The sound begins when I approach the 70 mph mark. The sound began about 2 months ago (never had the problem before with the factor options installed since new).

thanks in advance.

I assume you are not hearing the turbo. I thought so. Someone smarter than me should be able to offer some useful advise though.

Thanks for the post. It too loud to be the turbo. I'm wondering if its the wind going around the fog lights? I'll try to adjust tonight.

Ok... after an extensive search of the high piched sound. I finally found it.

It was the A/C line rubbing against the air box. I just put a few strips of aluminum tape around the a/c line and the sound is now gone. I wanted to post this... just in case someone else had the same problems.

Didn't have the high pitched noise but the A/C line was definitely rubbing on the corner of the airbox on mine. If I hadn't caught it in time with a covering of rubber hose, who knows, it may have rubbed completely through it and lost all the refrigerant in the system. Good you brought this up. everyone else should check theirs too.

Phil ;)
