Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) High pitched whine

I installed my edge comp box finally and I love it. but at higher RPM's I notice a high pitched whine that hasn't been normal. And I know it isn't a turbo whine. I did rip the intake gasket but then I replaced it with a new one. Is there something with the comp box that makes that noise? Thanks

Did you put in the boost elbow?If so check to see if it is in there all the way or you may need to put teflon tape on it. Check your inner cooler boots also.

Yep , Check intercooler boots ASAP betcha you have loose clamps. At factory levels (20 lbs) they could squeak but not likely unough to be pronounce. With the comp levels on an otherwise stock truck can reach what like 32 LBS which will find the most smallest leak. OR you just may be hearing the turbo sing its song of luuuvvvvv finaly
