how prevalent are leaking injectors on the 3rd and 4th generation trucks . I see a lot of posts with people getting the dealers to check for leak down ( injectors dumping fuel in ) Are the newer trucks any more problem than the old ,say 12 valve ?

Yes... You can burn down CR 10 easier and faster then 1st & 2nd Gen,But when they are dial in they are awesome,Most CR problem are related to poor aftermarket engineering and lack of proper support.

Fuel filtration is a must a 7 micron piece of crap going through a common rail at 23k psi can do some damage to injectors.
