I've got a 99 with a new VP44 installed two weeks ago,FASS installed 5 months ago, I'm going through the two filters on the FASS and the factory filter so I can use the fuel heater. I finally installed a Westach pressure guage yesterday but the pressure says 24-26 psi of pressure idling and or running, slight changes at full throttle. I checked the sending unit and it ohms out a 244 ohms wich is OK according to there trouble shooting guide. Is this OK or do I need to dig deeper and figure out how to bring the pressure down? Thanks For Any Help.

The pressure is a little high, but if it is starting good on a cold morning... . It should be OK. Where all the fuel lines replaced when Fass was installed? 1/2" fuel lines will bring the pressure down some.

yes, the fuel lines where replaced at the time of install 3/8" line was provided with the kit. I haven't had any problems with cold weather starts. Cummins 724 , to get the 53 replaced were you under warranty and how prevelent is the block cracking?
