High Quality Diesel, the I-5 Corridor WA to CA

Looking for help from TDR Members who live in Southern Oregon & Northern California.



We will be traveling from Seattle Washington to Gridley California the first weekend of March. We will be able to fill up with Cenex Premium Diesel before we leave but don't know what stations to look for once we get into Southern Oregon and Northern California.

I just fuel at high volumn truck stops and don't worry. IMO, source for fresh fuel is the most important factor.

Fuel Stops

There is a good fuel stops for big rigs in southern Oregon by Medford at the exit to Central Point. I think it is exit 33. It is right next to I-5.

Flying J on 5 east of Lodi [south of Sacramento] and several others on the route... . non issue for good fuel

Petro Stop, Fern Valley Road, Phoenix, Oregon. First exit past Medford. Easy on and off.

Pilot truck stop exit #32 n. Medford or

Seven Feathers truck stop/casino exit #99 canyonvile or.

Chevron/A&W/Mc Donalds/pacific pride truck exit #103 Riddle Or.

Pilot truck stop exit #148 Rice Hill Or.

Chevron/Mcdonalds/BurgerKing/KFC/ Exit #174 Cottage Grove Or.

Truck&travel exit #199 Coburg Or.

pilot truck stop exit #263 Brooks Or.

All these stations are high volume, room for rv, food etc. how do I know this? Look at my signiture. LOL

If you can avoid filling up in OR. you'll save some money. If you have to fill up there make sure the guy pumping the fuel puts diesel in your tank

These list prices and locations. I forget the exit # but in southern WA. there's a stop called GeeCee's, good prices and fuel.

Last Sept. I went over the Grapevine and found fuel prices were better at the top then on the north end.

Thank you for all the suggestions..... yes we try to avoid fueling in OR at all cost, hopefully we can. We will definately watch to make sure they put in diesel if we do have to fuel there.

Exit 55 Fred Meyer $1. 60 High volume dealer. Just down the street, Albertsons $1. 65 ... A bit farther, Pacific Pride $????
