Banks products may cost more and not perform as well as some other, but my experience with their customer service was great. I purchased a power pack almost two years ago and found my trucks performance was not what I expected. I sent back the OttoMind and they sent me a Big Hoss cpu @ no charge. Part of my problem was my lift pump was weak and my injector pump failed too. Found gas in my diesel. I only buy fuel @ Loves truck stop. Anyway, I just wanted to talk about my experience with Banks.

The last phone conversation I had with Banks was years ago. The customer service at that time was poor. I left a message on their answering machine/service, 6 months later this guy calls me up and apologizes for not contacting me. Gee, what would happen if I actually needed something? Mind you , that was a long time ago, but I never tried to contact them again. Hopefully their customer service is better now.

I installed the hi ram on my 04 HO. I think it flows a lot better than the stock intake. My boost also increased by a couple of lbs, but I think thats because they also send a boost elbow with the kit. It does look way cool and is simple to install. I like mine.

i know i'm changing the subject but how do you l;ike your htb2 turbo and what size would you use with an ez and tst stacked this truck is my wifes so we run low settings on the boxes for everyday use i called the company and he said use the killer b2 but i wanted some info from an actual customer

You should take a look at ATS high ram intake it is sweet it has ports for all of your drugs and probs. It is on there web site under new products.

I would check out their website for more info and if they tell you a killer b 2 would work best then I would go with that. They seem to really know their stuff. Mine is a sledpuller 66 with a 14 cm housing. They said this would work best with my setup now and with the future installs that I want to get. I am happy with the turbo. It doesn't spool up as fast as the stock 9 cm housing turbo but it can handle the power and the top end is awesome!!! The killer b 2 has a 12 cm housing with a 64mm compressor wheel that will handle 450-625hp.

Wow, that thing looks sweet. Only question is, does it flow better than stock and how much does it cost?

Clint at ATS says it flows just as good as the Banks highram. The price is going to be around 350. 00 it is a little steep but if you seen how it was made you would know why. Look at all of the ports for the good stuff

that ats intake horn looks good, and i think is nicer looking than the banks piece... hmm, maybe will need to get one for the looks eh... [and maybe a new valve cover... ]

would a mandrel bend piping work as good? Cuz I could make mandrel bend piping.
I would think it would be even better, powder coated colors or chrome would be sweet. Just have to figure out how to mount it down.

I thought there was a thread on the High Ram that showed a slight loss on the dyno when it was installed. Time to exercise the search function.....

The ATS manifold is not as large as the Banks so it does not require as much air to fill the extra space. This is mostly to clean up all of your taps into the manifiold. Like some people have up 7 taps and it looks really clutterd. I will post a before and after pic of mine to show how good it cleans things up.

Banks Hi-Ram Gains

Does anyone have conclusive results on the benefits of the Banks Hi-Ram manifold. I am looking for dyno info on before and after installation.

I have been waiting for some flow facts for some time now. I think the bashers just don't have facts. I don't have one to flow.

Banks will tell you in "high H. P". applications it offers a good egt reduction and some H. P. Its to allow more fuel and help keep egt's in a safe zone.
