High RPM Question

This happened a while ago and its worked good ever since. I was just curious if it blew the motor and we didn't know it. LOL

I thought that is how they tuned up the cars in Italy. Take em out and run em wide open! On a more serious note I would tell him not to worry about it.

my truck daily gets downshifted so the engine speeds go past 3000 rpm... still running ok

its ok, ive seen almost 4000 and didnt kill it then... .
