Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) High temp silicone on exhaust manifold to turbo gasket?

[GOT-Torque]

Anyone use high temp silicone on the exhaust manifold gaskets (for example between the turbo and exh manifold)? Or between hot pipe on a twin setup and the bottom turbo?



Or just use the metal gasket by itself?

Even high temp silicone will not take the temps normally seen at that location.

I wouldn't think it would withstand the temps either but I thought I would ask if anyone had any luck with it?
