Rcomendation for Slide- in

towing suspension troubles

It's amazing this truck is still kickin'. It got broke-in wrong, under-maintained, over-weighted, abused, and Now I have it with 108K hard miles on the complete truck, and it's having to pump ~450HP daily.



I think high Peak EGT is different from Sustained EGT,, I personally feel 1500* for 5-7 seconds will cause little or no harm,, Look at the Sled Pullers,, I have heard some of them get 2000* pulling the sled,, Even drag racers can get 2K*F



As a personal opinion, 1250* pre-turbo should be nothing to even consider, and 1300* shouldn't force you to get passed by a PowerJoke.

Nothin' like a $3200 transmission replacement, and having a hated DODGE finish towing yer 5er into port to teach a Ford owner a little HUMILITY!

There has to be something wrong. I run a Edge Box with a 4 in pipe and tow a 38ft Avion over loaded. The EGT probe is after the turbo it don't get much over 900,maybe I have a problem? 6 to 700 on the flat , can get 28 lbs of boost on the hills this is out west in the big hills. :confused:
