It seems that since it’s gotten colder (down to -12) my boost numbers are higher than they were. For example: 25 degrees ambient, on a slight grade (most would say flat) at 70 mph empty I’m pushing 550-600 degrees pre turbo and 12 - 14+ pounds of boost with no head wind. Even when I climb on it the EGT aren’t going over 900 but the boost is going over 31 lbs. The normal boost I was seeing under the same cruising circumstances but a little warmer was 10 lbs of boost. I was wondering if my fuel filter may be getting clogged from wax in the fuel or some other restriction in the fuel system. What do you all think?
