It seems that since it’s gotten colder (down to -12) my boost numbers are higher than they were. For example: 25 degrees ambient, on a slight grade (most would say flat) at 70 mph empty I’m pushing 550-600 degrees pre turbo and 12 - 14+ pounds of boost with no head wind. Even when I climb on it the EGT aren’t going over 900 but the boost is going over 31 lbs. The normal boost I was seeing under the same cruising circumstances but a little warmer was 10 lbs of boost. I was wondering if my fuel filter may be getting clogged from wax in the fuel or some other restriction in the fuel system. What do you all think?

The colder air gets the denser it gets, so you're going to see higher pressures on your boost gauge. There is more Oxygen in a given amount of air you're bringing in, so the engine is burning more fuel, making more power, and thus more boost. EGTs are directly related to the temp of the ambient air, and that -12 deg air is keeping the temps from getting hot. My trucks have always been a few psi higher in cold weather and quite a bit cooler EGTs, so I'd say it's normal.
