highest setting on smarty, stock fuel system?

New 3u fuel filter. Anyone using it?

I have been running on #5, but wondering if I could go higher until I figure out what kind of lift pump I want to get. Thanks in advance

I have a 03 with the 250 SO motor 170,000 miles on truck. I have had it on #7 for 6 or so months no probs so far i need a fuel gauge to really know but i am waiting for a new lift pump myself i would also like to know what people are daily driving on myself
 
I run my Smarty with Revo SW on level 7 and I have been able to see less than 1 psi on WOT runs to 70-80mph each time I shift. It bounces up when I shift and then sucks back down again. I only run my fuel filter to 7500mi to ensure it is clean and I am saving for an AD150.
 
I run my 06 with Smarty on 9. EVERYTHING else is stock. 98% of the time I drive for mileage. However passing on a 2 lane my FP will drop to 1 but rail pressure never below 15K.
 
I dont see much in diff in egt when i went from #5 to #7 if i keep the hammer down and run it up past 80mph from a dead stop it will hit 1200* but not much more. It seems to me from what i have read that my 250(so) it acts very diff from the newer motors maybe its just me but all this talk makes me want to break out my smarty and load #9... ...

Do you have the original lift pump or the upgraded warranty in-tank pump?
 
I run my Smarty Revo on sw8 with my banks six gun/speed loader on 6 as well. I drive my truck like nascar all the time and pull the 5th on weekends.

I dont have a fuel pressure gauge so I'm not sure if the lift pump is keeping up or not, but it seems to work good. I have the warranty in tank replacement pump.

Ive also adjusted most of the options on my smarty to either #3 or #4

99% of the truck is stock, including the 3. 5" exhaust.

What kind of EGT's do you see?
 
not much over 1300 under most conditions. which is surprising especially since I'm still running the stock turbo.

For some reason it doesn't smoke much either, I have the wastegate disabled and I'm seeing 42psi boost.
