Every time we buy a foreign made product, we're part of the problem. Mmm, I take that back. We ARE the problem. And yes I've looked in the mirror. My '84 Isuzu was a fine truck but an F-150 would have been just as reliable and alot stronger. Now my Ram was assembled in Mexico. So I'm still contributing to the problem. Don't even start on how the unions artificially drive up the cost of a product. BS. The buyer sets the price by what he's willing to pay. My truck was almost $36,000 to pay for cheap Mexican labor and a huge corporate profit.

I hate to say it but Chrysler/Dodge is owned by the Germans! (Daimler/Mercedes)... . at least Cummins is American! But what the heck, my Uncle was a WWII fighter pilot and spent a year in a Nazi POW camp, his wife drives a Mercedes! I do feel bad about my Michelin (french) tires though...

Altimera. I think that's how it's spelled.

The company built a big chemical plant so that they can eliminate our jobs here and pay the mexicans $2. 00 an hour to do the "same".

Only problem is, every few weeks the plant that's already there has an explosion every few weeks. :-laf
