History of Clessie Cummins struggle's paper

Hey yall a few months ago I posted about books pertaining to Clessie Cummins. Well thanks to some of your help I was able to get ahold of all the information that I needed to write my paper for my history class. I am currently finishing up my paper, but when it is done and revised I wanted to make it available to anyone interested in Clessie Cummins and his early struggles. I am in no means implying it is a great work of literature or anything like that, but just thought some of you might be interested in it. Let me know if you would like me to email it to you.

I'd be interested in giving it a read, I'll PM my email address to you. I recently had a Cummins plant tour and saw some of the first engines he made. Had a little discussion about Clessie with the guy giving the tour but am interested in learning more. Good idea for a history paper, maybe if I had ideas like that when i was in school I'd have done a little more homework .

I had some rough spots along the way with this paper. At first my professor said it would be unacceptable to do because of the lack of information on it. This was right after we had class and he said he wanted fresh new topics to be researched, but whatever. The initial stages of research were rough, but I think I finished up with a decent paper. For any of you interested more in Clessie and his company, I highly suggest reading the books that I used. They are listed in the bibliography. If anything at least read his memoirs and C. Lyle's book about his dad. The book "The Engine that Could" talks about the company from its founding all the way till the 1990's
