Well, on my way back from NY, I turned 100K on the truck. Still nothing replaced, other than a front wheel hub. Batteries are starting to get a little weak though. Other than that, just change the fluids, blow out the air filter and drive it. Great truck, hope it goes another 100K or more without issues. Scotty

I am not sure actually. Got the truck brand new in May of 2006 with 3-4 miles on it. Every mile has been a good one and the truck is still pretty near new. Needs a good washing and vacuum from hunting out of it for a few months, but other than that, it is still a GREAT truck. Hopefully it will take another 5-7 years before I need to look at replacing it. So far, it has beat everything prior to it, never had a truck this long. Scotty

Yeah, I am very happy with my first Dodge Cummins. It required less maintenance than my wifes gas powered Jeep and gets better mileage. The last of the 5. 9's are some great truck engines. Scotty

Please tell me you have actually changed your air filter along the way...

I changed over to an AMSOIL EAA around 30K and have been blowing it out with compressed air ever since then. I will replace it at 130K. Intake tube clean and without residue and the truck runs strong. Scotty

I haven't had any luck with the Amsoil EaA189. I've only managed to get around 35,000 miles each out of the two I tried. They load up on me and I'm not even in a dusty area. I would tap them, vaccum them, and blow them out with air and my minder would still pull down. I now have the new style 4" pleat Mopar/Wix filter and it is working great.

I currently have 148,000 miles on my truck and all I have done other than regular maintenance is add a new lift pump (Glacier Walbro), water pump, and Dynatrac kit.

Well, I just turned 170K on my way back from NC yesterday. Truck is running fine. I do have to replace the clutch (still) and a front axle U-joint, but all in all, truck runs real well. I have the danged tach issue where it just bounces all around, but until I repair the clutch, I am not tearing into the dash.

Overall I am pretty happy though. I hope I can pull another 170K miles outta the truck. It has been excellent. Even with the clutch, it'll only slip if I hammer on it with the toyhauler behind me, otherwise it's fine.
