Hit a Deer and ruined my bumper

Well i was headed to Utah for Thanksgiving and a deer ran across the hiway in front of son-in-law and after it got to the other side, it saw me and decided to run back across and commit suicide, good thing i had a grill guard or the damage would have been worse, as it was we pulled the bumper out away from the tire and went on our way, bad part is the grill guard pushed around and dented my fender pretty good, has anyone had any experience with a full wrap around replacement bumper guard, thinking about going that way, did 3200.00 worth of damage before labor, that brought it to 4326.17, i think they are trying to make a big profit at the body shop.Anyway any info a full replacement would be helpful TIA, Monte

Hey Monte, wonder if your deer was related to the one that took out my right rear dually fender and part of the bed last year, 3000 worth of damage from that one also . Damn thing was coming down running against 80 MPH traffic (me) at 1 AM just east of Richfield.

A guy in my neighborhood had his meth addicted gardener steal his '03 HO 4wd CTD w/grillguard. He went somewhere and commenced to ram the Ram between two poles. Forward,backward in rapid succession. By the time somebody called in the police the grillguard had pushed in the intercooler,radiator,grill,etc. The rear was a mess with the stock bumper. The grillguard was one of those Texas heavy models too.

I got a full Ranch Hand bumper after wiping out way too many front ends of my own over the years. Very solid bumpers that tie directly into the frame. Not the most streamlined bumpers but very functional and very strong.

I got a Ranch Hand bumper that I got from my neighbor he hit a deer with and didn't even knock the paint off it

Where and for how much can I get a ranch hand. Ive been looking, but I hope they have distributors because having one shipped from texas would nearly double the cost.

Well i found a full wraparound all one piece unit looks brand new, gonna pick it up for 500.00, won't have to worry about the skinny little chrome one and the top plastic piece anymore, Monte
