I Just smacked an antlered rat at 55 mph, needless to say the chrome bumper, the plastic fascia, fog light, and the airconditioning (all the freon charge came out) are toast. So my fist option is to ask if anyone on the list who installed the Reunel bumper had the old parts for sale?

Gifford, where are you at? I have all the parts incl. a bumper that is still usuable from an 01. You can have it if we can get it to you.

What I want to know is did you get any steak off of the deer for all the cost and trouble that you have to go thru... .

Expensive Venison

Although I think I was supposed to deliver or at least report the carcass to Fish and Game I didnt want to be driving around before opening day with a dead buck in the bed. So I only stopped long enough to show my boys some "field expedient game dressing". Ironically, Bow season just opened here in California and we were heading up to do some pre-rifle season scouting/camping trip for the labor day weekend. Turned out to a very expensive trip as the horns of that nice buck went right through the A/c condenser-radiator I was very lucky it didnt go any further. It also smashed the hell outta that chrome thing Dodge calls a bumper, all the plastic fascia, the fog light and the drivers side headlight. The carcass was pretty messed up as he went under the left rear wheel AND the 2 wheels of the utility trailer I was towing. (It smashed the hell outta the trailer fender too). BTW, anyone know what the law is on roadkill? I've never really thought about it but it sure seems like an awful waste to just leave it there...

The worst thing is, I KNOW I wont see a buck like this during the season.....
