Towing with 315's ??

tschwab, sorry for the wait, but I was in the Okanagan for a few days.



Hijacker has two sliding systems.

The original is your typical slider with the assembly moving back and forth inside slots in the rails mounted along the length of the box. There are four pins which secure it in increments along the frames length.



The 'ultra' slide has frames mounted to the truck perpendicular to the bed with rails on top running along the beds length. The hitch assembly has steel rollers witch contact the rails. There is also a big honkin' handle that you just pull out and lever over and the hitch will lock into the correct position when you move it.



I see the main advantages of the Ultra as being the ease of the sliding action (especially hooked up) and the quick use of the dummy proof locking mechanism. The only disadvantage I can think of is that the original slider is probably easier to get out of the bed.
