In another thread, it was claimed that the HO '02 engines had an upgraded injector pump - anyone have any specifics as to what the changes (if any) are?

And might there be some differences in the injectors themselves to take advantage of pump upgrades?

Smaller plungers? Is that so they can inject more fuel without increasing the stress on the pump?

Here is another weird thing. The ETC injector flow 640cc per 30 seconds @100 bar and the ETH flow slightly less at 600cc per 30 seconds @ 100 bar. I wonder what difference running the ETC injectors in an HO engine would make.

Running ETC injectors in a ETH motor would give some additional power, but I don't think it would be worth the trouble. Adding aftermarket injectors in the ETH motor yields greater HP/torque improvements than a ETC motor since the baseline injector size is different.

I agree with you. I was just thinking out loud. For some reason the Cummins parts book for "Chrysler 2001 Pickup" gives the flow spec on the injectors. But none of the other ISB books do. The ISB also shows two different numbers for the 275 injectors.
