BD has the graphs listed on their site for the new HO Plug N Power. They also have specs that are suppose to be off their dyno. The confusion IMO is that the data on the spec sheets does not correlate to the graphs. Has anyone else deciphered the info that they are trying to convey?

I looked at the same sets of numbers and was confused too. I see that one set lists the numbers for a stock HO and the other set lists the numbers for an HO with the Plug-n-Power installed (I could only figure this out by seeing the file names, because they don't match the graph they are listed with). The Plug-n-Power numbers are way short of what the graph shows in both hp and torque. BD has their information wrong somehow.

<font color=blue>I heard from someone who has used the HO VA and they said that it puts out about 15hp LESS then the regular VA on an ETH. This person wished to remain annyomous so I can not say who it was, but he was not happy with HO VA at all. Just something to think about.

On another thread, Brian from BD said some of the file names were mis-labelled. I think they're going to get everything straightened out on the web page, but they apparently haven't found the time to do it yet.

Kat, this friend of yours wouldn't be your alter ego who is dead set against the BD Plug N Power, now would it? #ad
An annyomous friend who doesn't want to share info or reveal who or source sounds like dis-information to me.

It is my understanding that the "standard issue" Plug N Play advances timing too much for the HO engine. That is why a HO version was developed. I may be wrong on this, but I'm sure somewone more knowledgable will correct me.

Most folks that have added their "standard issue" BD Plug N Power have posted very little if any extra ummph to the HO engine.

<font color=blue>Nope it is not an alter ego, why would I resort to that type of tatics? Have you ever seen me intentionally lie to make a product seem better or worse? Every post I make is based on information I have gathered somewhere. Actually kinda of offended that someone would accuse me of such actions.

The reason he can't put his name on it is because he is a BD Dealer! So he emailed me, asked me to call him and shared the info with me. Here is a quote from the email he sent me (obviously I am not including his phone number) : I need to talk to you about something I don't want in print with my name on it. And actually if you would do a search on my previous posts you will see that I mention the VA and the EZ Edge side by side in every post when some one is asking bout upgrades until someone specifies they are interested in the EZ only.

I have no problems with BD, the problem I do have is they way they are trying to sale everyone on their product based on fancy graphs with good numbers that are inconsitent. Just like Banks in the 4x4 magizines, one would think they are the only way to "upgrade" power, but their $3000 PowerPack Plus system will dyno bout 292hp or so and the $3500 I have invested will dyno at over 400hp, and thats including a new TC and VB.

Kat, no offense intended! Your post just seemed off to me. You are right on one account though and that is BD doesn't seem to have there stuff together on marketing this product correctly. All the graphs and charts don't match up and don't make sense to me. Have been on there chat room for more info, but they haven't responded this far. May be looking at and "Edge" product yet.

I emailed BD to get to the bottom of their graphs/spec sheets. Seems that who ever does there web work for them didn't get things put together correctly. They are suppose to be correcting the confusion as I type this out. They also emailed me the corrected Spec Sheet for a dyno'd stock ETH and a dyno'd HO PNP enhanced ETH. If anyone else is interested let me know by email and I will get the info to you. I am not very worldly when it comes to cut/paste from one program to another. vab
