the hole IS NOT in the floor.
Kind of a PITA to locate. I cut a smaller hole than needed, then kept cutting away until I could fit the trans in place. There is an inner shift boot that you can use as a final quide (to make sure your hole isn't too large). To me, this is the only real unkown in the trans swap.
Everything else is a direct bolt-in. There are even dimples on the firewall for locating the clutch master cylinder.
Keep in mind that you will need to ground one of the wires from the original auto trans wiring harness (park/nuetral)
