I am currious as how it comapres to a GT42R-94 with 1. 01 A/R housing.

With enough fuel the Ball bearing GT42 would make on fast spooling single sled puller... and still meet the 2. 8 rule. [/QUOTE]

thats what I am running,it would be a awsome turbo on a stick, i had a 1. 28 ar and just switched it to a 1. 01 (i am auto) i will let ya know how it does tonight ,it moves huge air I put down 550 at 40psi (wastegated) turned it up to 45psi and got 560 i generaly run it at 55-60psi but i was set up to run my NOS witch hit 60psi and did 809 (one jet). NOT STREET FREINDLY turbo.

how non street friendly are we talkin?

with the fuel I run (tried it ) a 12. I was told of a few big boys running them and they are havin work done to them ( the wheel ) so there are not so aggressive and then they say they spool up great. call Haisleys and talk to Van

How much fuel are you running?

Are there any different comp wheel options for the GT42? I've only seen the one 56 trim wheel and . 60 A/R housing. I think a little less aggressive comp wheel would make it less laggy.

Update , up untill IRP I did not realize I had the 102 version ( 3") 42R with the 76mm wheel , So it actually spools very well for that size turbo ,I would say that a 94 version (2. 8) would work well. I am running 675cc's

Hey I know they are not cheap, but if someone who has purchased a Pro 52 would pm me and tell me where the cheapest place they have found to buy one is I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm actually planning on running it on a common rail motor. I'm not sure I can get enough fuel on a single CP3. What do you think?

Just for clarification's sake I'm wanting to use the GT42 on a common rail motor. . :D A common rail Duramax LB7.

I was just wondering how the GT42 worked in smokinrod's application.

On the Dmax it will be great I had on on my 2001 superduty it was graet and I know a guy that is putting a custom 3. 0" 42 on a Dmax right now
