The HX-40 on the <b>ISC</b> already has an integral coolant jacket. In fact, the outlet from the turbo is also a vent line when filling the system. It prevents an air bubble from holding in the water pump vanes.
I'm curious if a VGT turbo will be part of the new emission ISC coming in 2002. Detroit Diesel has the Garrett VGT turbo on the Series 50. The Series 50 is now only available with cooled EGR, too. I hear the new ISC will also have cooled EGR.
