I just checked the temperature outside and it's **16F below Zero!!!**

OK it may not be shockingly cold for some of you, but considering it hasn't been below 0 for 8 years here, and that we are threatening to break the ALL TIME COLDEST January temperature by 9pm this evening. . . yes it's CCCCCcCOLD!!

The coldest temperature ever recorded in Pasco, WA in January was -19F on Jan. 29, 1950.

The record low for Today's date is a balmy -1F. We already blew that one to smithereens!!!!!!!!

BRRRRRRRRRRRRR

My poor truck is sitting outside unplugged :( It's NOT going to like me tomorrow morning!!! :{ :{ :{

Vaughn

:-laf its 48* outside right now @ a few minutes till 1AM here in Mid-Tenn.

Bad thing is I'm headed to Chicago tomorrow night, and they are in the middle of a snow storm! :(

6 inches fell yesterday in W. IA / E. NE. The temp this morning is a whopping 0*F, with wind chills around -20*F.

I agree, it's CCCCOOOOLLLLDDDD. Fortunately, mine is in the garage, plugged in during the coldest hours (0400 to 0900).

Vaughn, it's cold over here too. I wish you people would keep this weather over there where it belongs.

Glen

Well it dropped to -19F overnight, tying the all time low for the month of January. It was -14F when I left for work this AM and my truck was none too happy about it!

This is very usual cold for here and I imagine it's going to do in most of our palm trees.

Good news is we're supposed to be pushing 50 by next weekend. I'll take a 70F swing!!

Vaughn

Burrr! Forecast says were getting the drop here in a couple of days... . wed, thrs, fri were looking at +1F, -1, +7.

Can't you guys out west send that system north instead of east?

Thank goodness for the block heater;)

Jay

-10 here this AM, not sure what it is with the wind chill.

Good thing I'm headed for Cozumel Mexico on Thurs morning for a week!:D Haven't been on a vacation in over 2 years. Supposed to be in the 80's there this time of year. :p :D

Yes! It is darn cold this morning like Tim says. So cold I can't get the truck to start and Mexico sure sounds nice right now. The truck will crank but no fire, and living in a apartment complex I have no where to plug in.  I'll try it later today but I don't have very high hopes. :( :(

Chris

Chris, you cycling them heaters a few times? Are your batt. 's good? I'd say push that thing, but that doesn't work, I've tried. (too heavy):D Yep, I'll be wigglin' my toes in the sand drinkin' Tekillya thinkin of you guys in a few days.

All seriousness, pm me if you need help in the next coupla days. ;)

-12 when I left work this morning. My truck had sat out all night without being plugged in. Wasn't really thinking when I left and usually will cycle the heater grids two or three times when I am getting ready to go in the morning like that. cycled them once and turned the key and she fired right up. The other guy I work with drives a Ford, tried and tried and no start. I gave him a ride home after we found an extension cord to plug it in and let it sit a while. He said his wife would bring him back later. I was proud though, I never said a word. I know how much I would hate having to hear it. Later on when the pride isn't so sensitive he will hear it though. :D

Yeah! wait and save that card to play when he needs a reality check. I love that kind of hand, I play it all the time on my Dad who has a 6. 5 gm. I've had my share of problems, but he's needed AAA twice! I tell him he just likes the view riding up on top of the flatbed. :p :D

It was 16 below here at 7 am. Was going to go to Cody for groceries last friday but decided not to drive my truck in the snow. Was going to go today, but its only up to 3 degrees now so I will pass. Wednesday its supposed to make it to 45 degrees. That will be a good grocery day.

I don't know if my truck will start or not. I checked the garage and it was down to 62 degrees.

And the snow has started up again here in Willsonville, OR. They are talking 3"-5" tonight and changing to rain by Wed. Sounds like we will go from the freezer section to flooding :(

-20* AT 10,000 feet here at 6:00am.

I thought I heard a blurb on the radio that it was -50*(?) in Gunnison. It is the coldest place in CO. I heard it in passing on the radio and pretty sure I heard them correctly. Still surfing to try and confirm that. Wonder if that C degrees? Found a source that stated -28* there. That's cold!

You folks keep reporting all these low tempertures and the global warmming groups will complain.

Remember NO discourse on the TDR!

Well digger`s A@#!

It was 2 above here this am. Yesterday, I told the wife I would be buying batteries this payday. How right I am! Old reliable would not crank at all at 6 am. In utter humiliation, I drove the Grand Cherokee to work. The old batteries were almost 5 years old, came in the truck when I bought it. Thank goodness none of the coworkers have Powerstrokes or Duramaxs. Only thing I heard was giggling from the other Rammers. DK.
