Mitsubishi shifting problems

Twin engine Cummins powered 4x4

Then don't move to where I live in Ohio. Our prices stay up year round to catch the tourists and the locals alike. Still $1. 66 for unleaded reg. Diesel = $1. 48

I paid $1. 129 for fuel at the Flying J at exit 2 I-75 in South GA twice this week using my RV discount card. This is the lowest I have paid in 90 K of driving.

Oregon isnt much better than Northern Cal. Been averaging from $1. 52 to $1. 69. I havnet paid less than $1. 50 in over 2 years.  Know they are announcing that natural gas and electric rates will be climbing!

I can't believe Flying J in Fife is down to a $1. 24 !!

Just stopped there and fill up last night. I haven't seen it that price since spring of '99. I hope this keeps up for a while.

Same here

On the day of the attack, the Williams truck stop jumped to $1. 48, the Hess and Cisco stops to $1. 38. As of this morning Williams diesel is $1. 11 and the other two $1. 10. Could we have a quiet conspiracy here? Hmmmm..... Makes sense, when you think about the condition the airlines are in. For the first time in a very long time, things are back to normal; i. e. Diesel prices are lower than 87 octane gasoline.

I just did a small trip from San Diego to Tucson. I filled up here for $1. 61. I next filled up at the intersection of I-8 and I-10 for $1. 21.

The interesting thing here is that the trip computer was showing about 17 to 17. 9 mpg on the california fuel and 19. 0 to 19. 7 with the AZ fuel over the same route. (I was empty except for some luggage)

Could we (CA) be getting a different fuel here? Yet ANOTHER reason to get the he!! out.

My CFN bill always list the CA diesel as CARB diesel. OR and WA just list #2 diesel. Makes wonder if the CARB doesn't have something different specd for CA.

I aways thought the lower mileage was beacuse it is uphill going back to Oregon.

fuel prices

Oh yeah

today I gassed up my wifes car. 1. 199 for reg gas. I checked the price of diesel at that station and guess what. 1. 599 for diesel. I asked the f### is up here. The clerk says i dunno.

Dave Dee, if you come up this way get your diesel fuel in the Bedford area. The last time I was down there is was 1. 359. That was about 3 weeks ago. Probably less than that now.

California does indeed have different standards for diesel fuel.

Fuel for use in California has a lower aromatic content, which means more parrifins. They also specify a minimum of 47 cetane.

I would think you would get better milage on the Calif. fuel, not worse.

Fuel is running about 5-8¢ a gallon higher here. The common term is "seasonal adjustment". I call it BS.
