Home Run Derby?

How many of us are playing the home run derby and why is it taking so long to post results?

About half the time when I try to access the derby it locks up my computer. So far this has not been a good thing!

Taken from the Athlon site:



"Results will post on the Monday after each round by 1 p. m. EST. "



Round 1 runs from July 26-August 8. So, the round will be scored by 1pm on August 9. Round 2 runs from August 9-22, so that round won't be scored until August 23--make sense?

I just checked the site & it said round not yet scored. I checked it earlier today and sent a question in asking why... no response yet. What gives???

Yeah, I'm not that impressed either. I think the athlon site should be organized a little better too. And there should be a direct link from our TDR page to the Athlon site. Geez I'm nitpicky. I should have seen the results posted already that say I'm in the lead... .

The reason there isn't a direct link to the athlon site from here is because in order to restrict it to tdr members only it has to be on a page that checks to see if you are a member. That's what this page does - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/membersonlyaccess/homerun.phtml . As to anything that happens on the Athlon side I couldn't tell ya - my part of the deal was to provide a page that checks to make sure you are a member and has a link to their site. I'm not into baseball at all - any little bit that I was got squashed by the strike way back when .

That link keeps asking me for my login and password followed by a page that doesn't go anywhere. This link http://www.athlonsports.com/homerunfantasy/index.php?id=TDR seems to work.



And the results are up!! I suck!! I'm coming up though!!

That link should ask for your username and password only if your PC doesn't have a cookie set. Do you keep getting asked for your username and password here on the forums? If so you have a cookie problem - go here https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108976 . That link that you gave there is the exact same link that's on that page and that page is the one you went to initially to get to the athlon site. What exactly is happening when you click on the link on that page?
