Anybody ever make one for testing purposes?

I was thinking mabe air compressor hose would take the heat and no problem with the small pressure. Then just use a pressure guage from a plumbing supply place.

Boost guages are marked in psi and not inches of mercury correct?

Probably won't work..... well.

"Cause the average store won't sell a gauge low enough. They usually only have a few lines then reads "20"

Yes the boost gauge is reading in PSI. Unless your up north then is a bit different there.

I think it would work fine as a troubleshooting tool. Northern Tool, for one sells gages in many sizes and ranges... . and they have enough resolution to read what we need. I'm sure most of the industrial outfits such as Grainger and McMaster Carr also sell agages that would work fine.

As a matter of fact I have been considering making one up for troubleshooting for myself... and for my son to use at his shop.
