Very nice work Bobby.

I'm no expert, but I think the frame would probibally be better welded though. If you have those nylon insert nuts on the screws I think should be OK.

I didnt get the Honda (too much $$$ for me) but if I did, I'd like one of these.

Nice web site. How did you attach the outdoor thermometer to the camper? Do you leave it attahed when traveling. I have the same thermometer for our house, and want to attach it to the camper. Putting it under the bedroom makes sense since it's always shaded. Velcro?



Putting a remote sensor in the frig is a great idea. I got to thinking, maybe I'll put one in the oven too so that the wife will know the oven temp w/o opening it up to look at a mechanical thermometer.

I just got back from a run up to New York so my boys could play in the snow. I ran the Honda about 60 hours and it worked great. I used it to run the furnace blower fan a couple of nights and also to power heat tape I have on my drain lines.



The cover worked great. I did use nylon lock nuts and they held well. Everything is still tight. We drove through a lot of snow and rain and the Honda stayed dry.



I started the Honda one morning at 17 degrees with 30 weight oil in the engine, no problem. I really like this generator.



I don't have warm weather experience yet, but I'm sure it will do fine.



On the thermometer, I think I attached the mounting bracket with a couple of screws. The location works well. The cheapest price for this remote thermoter is at Home Depot in the garden area. The version I show on my web site was I think in the $20s but less than $30. I have seen the same thing listed at $40. 00 and above.
