2007-2008 Durango Hemi/Chrysler Aspen Hemi 5.7L

Is there a site on the Honda Ridgline? I'm interrested in mpg, ups and downs on the unit. Currently i have the 2 dodge diesels and my thinking is to go with one smaller truck and keep one diesel. In Canada new Hondas are still to high priced, but the second hand units have come down.

Thanks Tim

We've got a 2005 Pilot. It shares the same driveline as the Ridgeline. Great handling rig,but fuel economy averages only 17-18 in town. The Ridgeline is EPA rated as 1 mpg. less. We got 21. 9 mpg. once on an extended highway trip.

Ridgeline to costly in Canada

The Ridgeline is a nice driving sissy truck. The handling and ride definitly got my interest of owning one as a second truck. The pricing in Canada on a full load, with navigation and leather = 46,000. 00 dollars. There is no way to even consider this truck at that price. I have been on that Ridgeline site and the same load truck in the US, cost is running around 30,000 to 32,000 per unit. This makes no sense to me and a purchase is out of my thinking.

Do all those cost add-ons up your way go toward your health plan or does it disappear into the bureaucratic wasteland like we enjoy? With the Canadian dollar being strong now it would seem that they'd cut you a break.

my nieghbour bought his Ridgeline in the US, saved about $6000.

Nice truck for a "sissy " truck.

All kidding aside, it drives great, nice unit, well built !

I was driving our Ridgeline last week to a fire call. In the rural area I rounded a sharp curve at 60 mph. On pavement I hit some sand that had washed up on the black top. The truck got sideways but seamed to correct itself. I did steer into the power slide.

It drives like a go-kart. Real fun.

I have no experence with a Passport. Several have told me a Passport is trouble some. Not a Honda Product. The mate to Rodeo.

Made be the same company that makes Duramax.

I'll tell you this... I was really mad when "Truck Trend" called the Ridgeline "truck of the Year" a couple years back. I let my subscription run out after that. Now, I forget if it is Motor Trend or Truck Trend but in the last Truck of the Year contest, they did not even have a Dodge product, even though it has new styling, a new engine, and a new transmission. That is rediculous! I will never subscribe to Truck Trend again!
