honest dealers/mechanics section

what about a section of the site (or forum) to list local/regional dealers & shops who are honest, reliable & fair.



I'll start off with one, not a diesel shop but they're so good it's worth the mention anyway.



Hoshi Motors in Boulder, CO

The most honest, reliable, friendly shop I've ever had the pleasure of taking my car. These guys are so helpful I feel guilting not paying them more than they ask for.

The only downside is that they really only work on Honda & Volvo.

This idea, and similar ones have been discussed many times before. It is simply a bad idea. You won't likely ever see it happen here.



Dealers change hands, service managers leave, mechanics come and go, and experience will most likely vary from anothers. You're much more likely to spread the word about a bad experience than a good one, and all it would take is one posted bad experience to cause trouble.
