Hood deflectors

I bought a hood deflector from Cabela's and it fit very poorly so I'm sending it back.



What do you recommend?

I know what you mean. I have gone thru 3-4 since getting my truck and the one that has lasted and looks the best is by Better Built. It is a Stainless Steel version and is not affected by buy,rocks or weather. Geno's sells them or you can order from your favorite parts place.

I've been happy with the Lund deflector. They have a stainless model too. My past deflectors have been clear with the back side painted to match the body color. Holds up well.



They have several models. I happen to like the 'interceptor' model. Offers most protections.

I have the dodge smoked plastic and have had them for four years and have had no problumes. They look good on my truck caus it is black.

The stainless from any manufacturer is the way to go!! They look awesome and protect better! I have the lund and it is a really great quality product.

Stainless Hood Deflector

Lowell: I have one of the stainless deflectors from Geno's on my truck for about 6 months now. I like it a lot better than the smoke one that came on it from the dealership. Seems to blend in more, like you don't even have a bug deflector. Oo.

Did you get the 3 piece with the fender wraps?

No three piece, just the single one over the grill. My personal preference I don't like the looks of the fender eye brows. JMO!

So does Geno's have the fender pieces in stainless that would match the factor hood deflector?

I don't see a listing for the 3G for the three piece just the single over the grill, but the catalog I'm looking at is #42 page-18. They show stainless three piece for the 94-02 though same page-18. Oo.

From what I've seen, I can't get a good picture of the Stainless and angles of what it really looks like on a 94-2002 truck. Anyone, have real good photos?
