Hood Gauges

I am considering putting a fuel pressure gauge on the hood instead of in the truck. Can anyone recommend a vendor that offers a hood gauge set up? Thanks.

Try 'Year One' in Atlanta... I just remember the 67 Firebirds with the hood tach and it could be converted to anything you want!

gsmith... I have one on my truck. Unless you want to drill through the hood, you will need to fab a custom bracket to hold the gauge pod. I built mine out of 16ga steel, shaped somewhat like the #7, cleaned it up after I drilled the 4 holes ( 2 for the pod and 2 to mount it under the hood) and lined it with felt to keep it from scratching the paint.



I originally used an Autometer Ultralite 2 5/8" 0-15 FP gauge, but recently swapped it out for a Ultralite 2 5/8" 0-20 boost gauge, works well, though both gauges fog somewhat after a heavy rain. If you need 'em, I'll take a few pics. of how it mounts under the hood. There is a pic. of the gauge in the readers rig section, under Bigsaint.
