2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Hood hinge - I need a favor

[Hummin Cummins]

The passenger side hood hinge on my truck broke the other day. I called the dealer and they want $85 per hinge. They are an updated style and need to be replaced in pairs. I tried all the salvage yards in my area and could find nothing.



Any chance if someone has some time to kill and call to check their local yards for one? I will use a stick to hold the hood open before I give dodge 180. 00 for them.

Thanks. There is no hurry, I just prop up the hood with a stick. I just didnt know where else to call. I may have a line on one in Scranton. They have a 97. I will call tomorrow. I didnt think a wrecked dodge would be so hard do find. I just think they dont want to seperate the hood and hinges. I would have to guess that the 1500 2500 and 3500s are all the same from 94 up. And there aint one of them in a 50 mile radius of my place? Hmmmm
