Is there anywhere except Dodge I can get a new insulation pad for inside the hood for my '01. Hold down clips are still good, the insulation just tore around the clips and is falling down.
Mine Too. . I had to cut the right side insulation off to keep it from laying on the turbo and smoldering... clips are good, insulation just pulled/tore away from the clips...
Maybe get some of the double sided foil type insulation (foil/insulation/foil) that Geno's sells and make one up yourself. For me when mine started to rip and fall down I pulled it out and threw it away and didnt replace it (that was a couple of years ago) and have had no problems.
I've had a Reflexxion Cowl hood on my truck for about six years. No insulation with the new hood. I could not detect ANY sound difference either inside or outside with no insulation. Just a thought.....
Mine kept falling dowm, too, so I said f*#k it and just pulled it off. Now it's nice and clean under the hood! I can't tell any difference whatsoever in the noise level inside or outside.
