Hood loose

I had the hood latch recall done about 4months ago. Coming home from work last night I saw my hoodmoving about1/4 to 1/2 inch. When I got home I got out of truck and tried to lift hood there is about1/4 inch of play. Is there any adjustment on this latch or do I have to take it back to the dealer? Thanks.

Raise the hood and look at the latch mechanism. You'll see a couple of bolts. Loosen them and move the latch assembly up a small amount and tighten. Close your hood and check again. It is a trial and error thing. At least that's the way it is on mine.

Anyone have the part number of the new latch for the RECALL fix on the hood latch? From previous experience I will buy the part, do the install, and get reimbursed.
